Promoting multi-stakeholders participation and connecting thought partnerships to tackle plastic pollution in Vietnam

Sharing on the existing stakeholder and action mapping on plastic pollution mitigation and solid waste management in Vietnam 

Round-table sharing and on-site update on existing actions/stakeholders 

Instant polling on stakeholder’s interest in interventions and actions against plastic pollution

Group discussion

• The discussion of each group will be aimed at analyzing and discussing priority areas of activity and proposing potential cooperation opportunities in the field of solid waste management and the natural resources and environment sector, focusing on plastics.

• Participants will be divided into 5 groups:

1. Policies

2. Analysis/Research (Survey, measurement and evaluation) 

3. Science & technology solutions

4. Finance and investment

5. Communication and education

• The discussion of each group will be aimed at analyzing and discussing priority areas of activity and proposing potential cooperation opportunities in the field of solid waste management and the natural resources and environment sector, focusing on plastics.

• Guiding questions: Each group member shares and exchanges information among the group by providing answer to the following question

2.Current challenges and difficulties?

3.Knowledge and information need and demand?

4.Priorities in the next 6 months

5.Propose collaboration opportunities

Follow up actions and a proposed mechanism to connect, share information, connect learning opportunities to increase participation among stakeholders
